Hey Everyone,
Well as most of you know my ride has been in reconstruction mode for about a month now. Those of you that know me too well, also know that Poi is way better at keeping secrets than me! LOL So I figured I would give you a quick run down of my mods list I have in the works, and all of you guys will see at PT's in The Park in April!
1. My biggest project is a full one off set of Air Brushed Flames. This is also why I am missing out on the River Run this year. LOL As of Friday night, my ride is in the shop on jacks, with no windshield, Grille, Bumper, Headlights, emblems, door handles, etc. Its pretty well stripped, and awaiting the flame layout sometime Monday, and should be shot sometime mid week. Once the flames are done, it is going to get 15 coats of clear, so I can get that deep rich shineI love so much!
2. Once that is done, its going to the Stereo Shop to finally install my other amp with the Gold Plated Chrysler Logo in my trunk, and then install 8 big truck marker orange LED's in my wheel wells to back light my wheels at night, and then also put a few inside to start my light display.
3. Then it is off to a long time friend, and metal fabricator, where we are currently building my chromed Harley Piston Shifter knob. We are also working on developing a new custom forward tilt hood system that will be strong enough to hold up a stock metal hood without a problem. It is still in development, and I am not sure if it will make it onto my ride this time, but it is in the works, and once we get it perfected, we will be making them for anyone who wants one.
4. And last, but not least, we are going to cut some custom chrome diamond plating for my trunk sub floor, under hood, and door sills, and then we are going to remove my Intake Manifold, and have everything polished to a high chrome finish.
SO, that ought to keep up with the guys for another year or so...I hope! ;D
Also, we are very fortunate to have access to some great Welders, Fabricators, and Machinists, who used to build off road race trucks. Everything they build is with the mindset of heavy off road abuse, so everything is pretty much bulletproof, and strong enough to handle anything you can throw at it! They are very interested in developing some better aftermarket components for us in the PT Community, and would love some feedback on what you guys might be interested in. Right now, we are working on the forward tilt hood project, and are looking into a side tilt, which we have never seen done before! We are also looking into the side mount for the rear swing out tailgate, and a flip kit for the rear tailgate on the Vert, to make it open reversed. We can make custom grilles, and most anything else your imagination has to offer! Please let us know what if you have a need for a custom part, and we will see what we can do for you!!
Till next time, take it easy, and Cruise on!
