PT CRUISER WORLD SITE STATUS

Anyone know the status of the PTCW Site...dead, dying, of receiving a "heart" transplant?

Hey Everyone,

About 3 weeks ago PT Cruiser World went down with a maintenance sign that they were working on the sight. By the second week the site went down completely, and was off line until today. It is still off line, but they have a new temporary page explaining that they will be back soon, but that they felt that trying to simply put a bandaid on a site with so many problems, that they felt it would be better to ditch the old site, and instead build up a new one!

The only potential problem that could potentially come out of it is that it appeared that they were toying with the idea of advertisements pop ups to help pay for the bandwidth of the site. Since this was one of their biggest issues for potencial problems, they could decide to instead become a PT Pay site!

While they have always provided a great place for PT Cruiser Enthusiasts to come hang out, and I can see where the high expense of maintaining a site of their size, I think it may wind up being a real problem for a lot of PT People out their, especially with the struggling economy! Times are tight, and money is tight for a lot of us out their, and I believe that it is very much important to make every effort to keep a free place for everyone to hang out, visit, and help support each other through these tough times!

I do wish PT Cruiser World all the best in putting a great new site together, and hope everything works out!

Thanks CM....I wrote the Admin address and hadn't heard anything, but your post let me know to go back and check it out.
Yeh, it's tuff nowadays, and we're all trusting that if you guys ever need to change things around here, you got mine and NM's support.
