CAR A FAIR '08 Carlsbad NM

I just thot I'd post the info about this show, that's tomorrow, while I'm posting the picture of the trophy they got me to "volunteer" to make. ;D

It was a lot of fun, as I love doing trophies. I'll have a few pics of the show tomorrow night. btw~ it's a 1964-65 Falcon dash bezel.
The rest of it is plastic sheeting, Word Perfect and hot glue.
I just hope whoever gets it will like it.

Had a great show but it was 102' and HOT!

But Turbo Dan Leisle and I had a great time. We took 1st and 2nd, cuz there WERE only us on the PT Cruiser class, but no one can never say I didn't let everybody in town know the Cruisers are welcome! ;D


THEN at the end if the show, I found out not only was I suppose to MAKE the trophy for Best Interior, I suppose to be the only JUDGE for Best Interior.

So I scootered back around, trying to regroup. No one ever TOLD me I supposed to be THE judge, and so far all I had done was do my Best Of Show ballot. uuuurgh.

I got 'er done and it was a Carlsbad couple who owns this '37? Ford Pickup (can't remember-I'll find out later) and the interior was done by a man here in Carlsbad.


I enjoyed the show, but next year, I'm locking that PT and leaving when it hits 85' and coming back for the ceremonies.
