Hey Everyone,
As of this weekend, my ride is going back into the shop to dial in some brand new prototype parts for the PT Cruiser that a freind, and I have been working on for the past several months!
Included will be our all new forward tilt hood kit which will also have an optional 12 volt Actuator System to lift, and lower the hood via Key Chain remote control!
We will also be finishing up on our Mini Harley Piston Shifter Knob that is hand machined out of aircraft grade aluminum, and polished to a mirror finish! We will also be able to either adapt, or make custom knobs upon request for all who are interested!
And the last of our production parts will be a full array of custom cut diamond plate parts, for both inside, and out, to give your PT that sweet custom look, and we can also do custom metal fabrication upon request!
My ride will be in the shop for the next 2 months during which time we will be getting all of these components perfected! Once everything is done, I will be sure to post some photos here, and shortly after, we will be able to start taking orders for any parts anyone might want, or any custom work you might be interested in!
Take care!

Hey Frank,
I am hoping so! I am now PT'less once again, but things should be pretty sweet when she gets back!
Like I had mentioned before, a lot of the parts we are currently working on will be available to anyone interested in the very near future! Everything we build will be available at a reasonable cost, and will be built bulletproof! None of these flimsy plastic components that may look nice, but don't perform! Our components are made from 100% American Steel, that looks great, and will stand up to whatever life has to throw at it!
First off will be our Forward Tilt Hood Kit which we are tweaking the proto type right now! Unlike some kits I have seen, our kit will be able to hold the heavy stock hood with no problem, even with the added weight of a steel cowl induction scoop! Our new set up will not require any Modification of any kind, and should be able to be easily installed by two people in one day! In addition to the new brackets, we are planning to offer a 12 volt electrical set up to lift the hood automatically at the touch of a button!
We also have a few more parts in the works as well, but we are always looking for new ideas! So, if you got some thoughts on something you always wanted to see for the PT, but no one ever made, please let us know!
Take it easy!

Don, I just spent 2 weeks without soonercruiser trying to work out a clutch problem, that ended up in a new clutch assembly at 26K miles. **Now I do love the new GT vert...but it was really fun to drive soonercruiser again today with the clutch like brand new! (I felt you pain!)

Hey their Frank,
I sure do appreciate it, and it is good to see ya again!
Glad to hear you got Sooner Cruiser back up, and rolling again! Man, in an attempt to keep from pacing the floor all day, I have actually resorted to color sanding, and buffing out my RC Dream Cruiser Body! I'm still not brave enough to do some matching flames on the way to expensive Candy Tangerine paint, but that gloss I pulled out of it is looking pretty sweet! Ah what many months of time with nothing better to do will get ya! ;D
BTW, have you heard from Dave lately? Haven't seen nothing from him in a looong time now! If you see him, tell him Candyman says Hi, and he is always welcome here anytime!
Take it easy,
Candyman
