Unfortunately their has been a few changes in the stock PT Cruiser Stereo from year to year so they are not interchangeable. Here are a few of the changes. The Stock PT Cruiser Radio changed for the 2002 models. The display has changed to dot-matrix. The middle EQ band is deleted. The connectors are completely different; the 2001 has two 7-pin connectors and the 2002-2004 radios have one 22-pin connector. Even the antenna connection has changed to a positive locking style. We do not know the OEM manufacturer.
