On one of the other sites there were some negative posts about aftermarket wood dash kits. But the new GT turbo vert, The Black Sheep, is tan on top, and tan leather interior. The color scheme was crying out for some brown wood trim for the look of luxury. So I gave it a go! Even though the center console is a flat piece (not 3D molded), I am pleased with the overall results. And I found a way around getting door trim for the vert too.www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/interior-accessories-forum/19503-wood-dash-trim-kits.html

Re: WOOD DASH TRIM KITS FINALLY! Got the redesigned door handle trim pieces today!!!! The designer at the factory ("Wow Trim") went to a dealership to custom duplicate the size of the 2006 and up (larger) door handle surrounds. After a month or so.... **They sent me two different sets 1) the thin design that was part of the original kit. I mounted these - as they seem to match the size if the other thin pieces better, like the door speaker surround. This redesign gives you plenty of room to avoid the rear end of the door handle, where it swings out. **2) To my suprise, they also sent an extra set, that are much wider, but open-ended. The trim is open-ended since the trim is "Flat Cut", and therefore all the 3D curved door handle surrounds, when duplicated as a flat piece, cannot be connect as one continuous piece. I tried them on, and they seem to connect at the bottom just fine! I would worry a little about the rounded edges staying in place - the long-term quality of the adhesive tape. **What a great effort by the Wow Trim folks! Give me a couple of days and I will posts some pictures! (Happy wood kit camper!!)

Hey their monzaguy, Unfortunately the 2001 - 2005 dash is quite a bit different from the 2006 and up dash due to the PT redesign in 06. However Mitch over at Cruiser Motor Sport should be able to hook you up with the older dash kit for your ride. He is one of the largest PT parts distributors in existence, and actually supplies most of the rest of the PT Distributors like Auto Truck Toys, Maggie at Race and Street, and so on with their parts. Usually if Mitch doesn't have it, he knows someone, who knows someone who has it. If you need pretty much anything for your PT, he is your man without a doubt! Here is a Link to his website. www.cruisermotorsports.com/ProductsMenu.htmlBe sure to tell him Candyman sent you. ;D Go easy, and I'll catch ya later. Candyman

Hey their Bruce,
It is big time great to see you on here! I actually got that straight from Mitch when I was up hanging out at his shop buying some of my diamond plate stuff. He was saying he had been supplying to Race and Street, and Auto Truck Toys, or at least that was what I understood.
At any rate Maggie, or Mitch should have the kits for both body styles I would recon.
Anyways, again, it is great to hear from you! I wish I could have called you, but I no longer have long distance. I hope all is going okay up your way. You take care of yourself, and if you ever want to chat, or anything, please let me know anytime.
You take care, and I'll catch ya later.
