I don't really want to be the bearer of unhappy news, but I thought this is important enough for everyone to know. The PT Cruiser Club is now in the history books, and closed permenately.
There were no pre-announcment or signs that it was going to happen. Mike shut the site down, and this notice has been posted:
"Notice: 10/17/2008
Due to the recent downturn in the US economy we are no longer able to maintain this web site.
This site is permanently closed." unquote
It will mostly impact the clubs that were exclusively running their websites off the ptcruiser.org domain and/or the PTCC members "out in the middle of nowhere" that stayed loyal to Mike.
I'm sure they will pick themselves up and create their own sites and forums...
Happy Cruising to all those members and I hope they feel welcome to come here and other websites to stay in contact with their old friends and even maybe make some new friends.
