Hey Everyone,
Well, ever since I got my ride back from the body shop after doing my flames, it has been in another shop getting yet more work done.
I started having issues with a bad wire causing my battery to die on me, so a fiend of mine pulled out my stock head unit that my amp, and stuff was hooked up to, and found a giant ball of wires, and tape, and it was a mess, so we wound up starting over from scratch. We were just going to fix up the wiring, but my friend had a friend who owned a stereo shop, and was redoing his display case, and owed my guy a favor, so he donated a bunch of cool stereo stuff to do my stereo the right way! So we now have a really nice high end Clarion head unit Rockford Fozgate Component Speakers, with tweeters, and crossovers both front, and back two big 1000 watt Fozgate amps, and a big 10 farad capacitor with cool led back lighting, and volt meter built it! The two Fozgate amps are mounted under my subfloor, and my old 1000 watt Performance Technique amp, and capasiter are mounted above the subfloor on a custom piece of aluminum diamond plate.We did it like this so we wouldn't block view of the orange leather insert, and make way for a custom housing to mount an XBOX 360 between the subs, and then finish off in the near future with a way cool Autotek Amp with a Crysler Logo embedded into the casing!
So, right now we are pushing 3000 watts in amps, and the head unit is also pushing 50 watts per chanel x 4 speakers, and 4 tweeters, and from what I have been told, it is a bit loud now! ;D ;D ;D I am sposed to go pick it up next Saturday, which will be the first time I have seen it all done in 3 months! In the mean time, here are a couple of spy pics! ;D

And our trunk set up in progress. We are also putting some more diamond plate on the back of the seat, as we have most definetelly decided we are no longer advertising for that stereo shop ever again!

I recon its like they say, Third Times the Charm! I now have a second way cool Amp thanks to my good friend Bruce (Bruent), which is mounted on a custom painted amp rack along with a third monitor. After that we created another sub floor to house my big amp, and Capacitor in the floor. Then last but not least, I had found these little flamed pieces of trim for an F150 that were supposed to go along th blue oval emblem on the tailgate. i thought they were kind cool looking so I picked them up, and after kicking it around I decided to use them on to accent the box which I think kinda turned out cool as it wound up matching up with the chrome from the amps, and subs. Just something different.
