Hey Everyone, If you ever want to wire an Amp to your Stock Head Unit in your PT, you will need a LOC - (Line Output Converter) to convert your speaker wires to RCA Connections. Their are several different types of LOC's on the market ranging in price from $19.95 to $100.00 depending on what you want to do, and how big of a system you are working on. Here is a photo of what an LOC looks like. Here is the wire diagram for what your wires are and where they go to on a PT. + 12v DC constant Pink/lt blue + 12v switched red/white - Grd black Illum. Orange Left Front L F + dk grn L F - brown/ dk blue Right Front R F + Violet R F - DK Blue/ Red Left Rear L R + Brown/ Yellow L R - Brown/ Lt Blue Right Rear R R + DK Blue/ White R R - DK Blue/ Black You hook your + Left rear to the + Left LOC Hook your - Left Rear to the - Left LOC Hook your + Right Rear to the + Right LOC Hook your - Right Rear to the - Right LOC run you RCA's to the back and Splice into your swicthed 12v which is Red/White for you Amp remote wire and you will have RCA signal and have remote power. The LOC has a Brown wire as well as the other 4 I never use it I always cut it off I believe it is a grd wire for the LOC but I have never had any problems and it sound great with the stock deck. You will still have to run you amp kit, but now you can run an amp without having to buy a new Head Unit. Go easy and I will catch you later! Candyman
