Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to post the Original Equipment Specs for Battery Replacement. As far as I know these specs have not changed throughout the entire production run of the PT. Anyway:
From the Interstate Battery Catalog:
26R-50 (the -50 after 26R=50 month warranty)
Also the part # changed to I-26R (warranty is 65 months)
Weight: 27.00 pounds
Length: 8.00 inches
Width: 6 3/4 inches
Height: 7 3/4 inches
Cranking Amps: 530.00
Cold Cranking Amps: 425.00
Voltage: 12.00
There is also the part # MT-26R, which the CCA is 540 Amps and the warranty is 75 months.
