Hey their Everyone, I just did an interesting Detail for a friend of mine. The Paint was an old school single stage Polyurethane which is an extremely durable, but tricky paint to shoot as was the case here. The surface had some gloss unevenness, a few blemishes, and other related minor defects throughout, so I went and color sanded the paint down with 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper removing as many defects as I could, and then went back over it with my high speed Makita Rotary at 2000 RPM using Meguiar's Fine Cut Compound, followed by Meguiar's Show Car Glaze #7, Gold Class Wax, and then a coat of my own Paint Sealant mix. Anyways, here are the results. All in all, it came out pretty decent I recon. Look for more info on this PT in the Aftermarket section of this Forum. Go easy, and I'll catch you all later on.
