Hey Everyone,
I wanted to post on an Electrical issure that seems to be popping up more, and more these days which occurs when a car battery dies.
If your Battery dies completely, after replacing it, many people are winding up experiencing small electrical glitches. Most relating to False/Positive Engine Fault Codes, windows going up half way or not working at all, convertible top not working, dome light not turning off, and the list goes on. If this happens to you, do not panic. All you need to do is reset the system and it should resolve the problem.
Here is how to reset your system.
1. Pop your hood and remove the positive cable from your battery.
2. Wait for five minutes to clear out the computer.
3. Reconnect your battery cable and check to see whatever problems you were having have resolved.
This should resolve your problems. If not, please feel free to post here and I would be more than happy to see if I could help troubleshoot your problem.
Go easy, and I will catch ya later.
