Hey Everyone, Here is another good Video on how to replace the Tail Light on your PT. This is also the same method used to replace your Factory Tail Lights with any Aftermarket Tail Lights as well. As you can see, the trickiest part is trying to get the plastic socket plugs where the bulbs go into, to line up correctly, but they are not that hard. It just takes some patience. And last, but not least, if you compare the older 01-05 PT Tail Lights, verses the newer 06- present PT's, you will notice that starting in 06 they had a slight change in the look of the Tail Lights where the turn signal areas were orange, now are clear. Now I personally really like the newer look better, and had a good friend who had replaced his lights with Aftermarket ones so I got his old ones. The reason I mention this is, all Chrysler PT Tail Lights are universal fit which means the same Tail Lights for a 2010, will fit into a 2001 Model. The only thing that is slightly different are the plastic plugs that hold the bulbs in place, so make sure if you pick up some newer Tail Lights, that you also see if you can pick up the Bulb Holders as well to assure proper fitment. Here is a before and after pic for you. I think it has a kinda cool subtle Custom look to it. Before: And After: Notice how the clear part matches up with the back up lights better than the orange. I recon just something different. Anyways, you guys go easy, and I will catch ya later. Candyman

Are you kidding me CM? First of all that guy should have at least tried to do this before he video tape it. He fummbled with changing a tail light? Then he didn't even know the little rubber hose is to let the tail breath and stop moister from building up. No offense, but I wouldn't let him change my front porch light. LOL

Hey their Bruce, I see someone is awake out there in PT Land. ;D I did notice he was a bit on the shaky side of things, and recon you are right on the money as I would have probably done the first one to see what's what, and then stage everything nice and neat, and start filming so it looks like I am a pro, and know what I'm doing before just diving in like that. The sad part was when I went to change mine to the newer tail lights, I must have sat their way too long trying to figure out the plugs till it dawned on me that the bottom plugs are just slightly different and are not comparable without a little re-working, so I kinda was fumbling around as well. I recon we all have our moments, right? ;D The rubber hose thing, I knew was their, and kinda guessed along those lines, but never knew for sure so I thank you! Ya learn something new everyday! Anyways, you go easy, and thank you much for posting! It is kinda a rare occasion these days. Catchya later. Candyman
