Hey Everyone,
A lot of people including myself has removed the rear Wiper from their PT. Their used to be a Billet "T" Handle which covered over the Wiper Motor and made it look like the rear glass opened, which of course is just for show, but a kinda cool effect nonetheless. The only problem is the Company who produced the "T" Handle went out of business, and I actually snagged the very last one Mitch at Cruiser Motor Sport had for my PT. Here is a pic.
With that said, here is an interesting and cheap alternative that looks pretty clean, and is pretty easy to do.
Please note, this works best on tinted windows.
Take a 1 1/4 inch hole saw from a hardware store. Make sure it does not have a drill bit in the center (remove it if possible). Using a pair of 99 cent sun glasses, drill out a lens using the saw. Remove the wiper unit and then epoxy the lens into the hole.
You can do the same thing to plug the Wiper Squirter at the top of the rear glass as well.
And their ya go, another pretty simple, and inexpensive Mod to clean up your PT.
