The gearheads here and at the PTCruiserLinks forum can give you some ideas.
The top 3 for fuel mileage are: plus, wires, and open the breathing - cold air intake.

Welcome to the site seebee.
The candyman is a great help on a number of issues, especially detailing and painting.
But, this site is pretty slow.
You'd do better to get some tips on the PTCruiserLinks forum; and PTCrew forums.

Best mileage tips are:
-new plugs and wires from Maggie at Race&Street.com
-"Open up the breating" with an aftermarket cold air intake
-lay off the gas pedal
-manual tranny better mileage than auto, and/or turbo.
