Hey Everyone, I stumbled across this a long time ago, and have always thought it is kinda a pretty cool idea. Then again, I almost always tend to gravitate towards the cool and unusual when it comes to Automotive customization. As a Custom Painter by Trade, I know all too well how much it costs to smooth and glass in a dash for a PT, and then prep and paint it. Your talking some serious money without a doubt. Then if you want to look into adding some more custom paint, or air brushing to give it a little more personal touch, then you can easily run into the $1000.00 or more. As a kinda cool alternative, for a couple hundred dollars, you can have your dash custom wrapped using the materials used to do custom wrapped Vehicle Exteriors you see running around town every once in a while. I really dig on all the possibilities that could be done using this process. You can get very complex in your design, or opt to stay nice and simple. Here are a couple of PT Dash Board's to give you a better idea of what a wrapped dash can better look like. You can also wrap your A-Pillers, Wind Sails, Door Panels, and pretty much anything and everything in between. Anyways, I thought the idea is kinda cool, especially for the cost involved. Also any parts that are wrapped, can potentially be reversed so you can either remove, or replace your wrap anytime you like so if you ever wanted to change themes, or what ever, its not a permanent mod. Thought it was worth posting anyway. Go easy, and I'll catch ya later. Candyman

Don, I've got a club friend who will enjoy seeing these wrap mods - his PT is a US flag theme also. ;D

Hey their Frank, Yep, I have known about this kind of mod for a while and really think it is a cool idea. At least way cheaper over painting, you can add some very nice cool looking details to pretty much anything which really can come in handy when doing Custom Themes, and like I was saying, once you get bored with one look, you can take that wrap off, and apply a totally new one with little to no trouble. Anyways, you go easy, and if your friend gets to looking at wrapping anything on his / her PT, please see if you might be able to click off some pic's for me please. You know how much I love pics!! Catch ya later my friend. Candyman
