We had a very severe hail storm on May 16th.
Unfortunately, soonercruiser was the 3 car "out" of the garage. It was parked cross-wise in front of the garage doors....and the vert was backed up in the garage, exposing the storm shelter. This was because at first, a tornado was the biggest threat.
By the time they were predicting a hail core, I went out the garage door and saw it hitting the trees across the street - TOO LATE!
Ended up with almost $8K in damage. The roof and hood were really bad! The larger hail was tennis ball size. Luckily - no windows in the car or house were broken. The Ins company wanted to total soonercruiser
, until I informed them I had $10K worth of aftermarket mod rceipts. (which they wanted copies of)
She is finall in the shop now.
**Foot note: I had her sold (almost) the day before the storm!
