Not sure what I will be told here but I'll give you my side of the version and we'll see what comes up.
My 04 has started to make like a low whirring sound and I thought it sounded like a rear wheel bearing starting to go.
Put it on a hoist today at a local suspension place and we find that it looks like the left front wheel bearing is starting to go.
Made an inquiry with a supplier I know in Australia and he said no worries I have a new front hub complete I'll send to you.
BUT when he checked the hub before intending to post it to me he finds that the complete hubs he has been sent from the States aren't complete, they are minus the bearings.
To cut a long story short he eventually sourced me the bearing itself and it's on it's way as I type.
He has had these in stock for 7 months so I suggested when you are sent something for god's sake check that it's complete or he'll have unhappy clients if it has to be returned.
Next question I need to ask you fella's over there is he was told that pre 11th month 2002 has a different sized bearing to post 11th month 2002.
Has anyone heard of this in the past or is someone feeding him a load of crap ?
