Hey Everyone,
Sorry i haven't been around in a few days! I have been swamped trying to get my ride ready for a little cosmetic surgery before we get too deep in Show Season. I don't want to give too much away, but I will tell you.....my Mod list just got a lot shorter! ;D
Things should be back up, and rolling around here by mid week! Till then, take it easy, and I will talk to you all soon!

Hey Sharron, I am hoping on getting my baby to the shop sometime in the next couple of weeks.....Just waiting on payday from Uncle Sam. ;D Then if all goes as planned, I should be PT-less for about a month and a half!  Though I want to keep it all under cover, I am positive that after a couple of weeks, I will be doing the old (sitting on my hands till they go numb so I can't type routine) as to not let the cat out of the bag too early, but we will see if I can hold out! Keep an eye out, and some undercover spy pics might show up...you never know! I am probably going to see if I can hit a show up in Fullerton in late April with Poi, as kind of a preliminary debut, and then we have a Church up here in Hemet that puts on a great show around the beginning of October that I attend every year along with a Cruise Night after the show n downtown Hemet " only a block from my house"! ;D Last year they had 250 cars show up, but only had one other PT from Double D Cruisers that was at the show besides mine. The cool part came later that night at Cruise Night since it was mostly filled with Classic Cars, Muscle Cars, and Low Riders, our PT's were like the only ones with lights, big stereos, and TV's so the crowd quickly drew to our rides after dark. The Low Rider Guys got a little jealous and started cruising around the PT's hitting their hydrolics, hopping, doing the three wheel motion thing, and putting on a great show right in front of us with the Cruisers as the centerpiece of the Party! My big PT Debut though will be at the Lemoore Show that my man Bruce, and the Sequoia PT Cruisers Club is putting on in October! This year I will not only be debuting my freshly modded PT, but also I will be an official Rep for Meguiar's, and will be running a booth for them, selling Detailing Products, answering Questions, and doing some demonstrations as well! I am really looking forward to it, and hoping to see as many of my PT Friends as I can out their! It is shaping up to be one great Event, with plenty of fun for all! Hope to see you all their! I am probably going to see if I can hit a show up in Fullerton in late April with Poi, as kind of a preliminary debut. Hey Don....I hope you'll consider coming to the Orange County's Picnic in the Park day, in La Palma! It's going to be April 26th, as planned now. With the fact of the West Coast convention not being held, they thot it would be nice to have it then and not wait until May. That group has also taken on helping Dave with the PT River Run, so it's not set in stone yet, but Poi can attesh to it being a fun show to go to and a VERY nice setting. It's at the Central Park on Walker Ave.... Just thot I'd throw that in, since you were talking about late April. Hope to see your new baby when it gets done!!! |

You're more than welcome.....my intention isn't to suggest something that will steer you away from something going on in Fullerton with da' Freak, I'm just throwing out an idea.
Really, my agenda is so I can see the mods in person and meet cha!
Just so you know about it, and I'm sure Jan w/ come here and post something when they get back from Laughlin. She's already up to her eyeballs in the River Run, busy busy busy.

Naw, no problem! I actually got a little side tracked on my plans this afternoon when my ride started flashing random electrical fault codes. It was funny cause I took my truck in to Nissan yesterday for a warrenty repair, and so today I wound up picking up my truck at Nissan, and dropping my PT at Chrysler at the same time. One goes in, and the other goes out! It should be no biggie, but I figured I would have Chrysler put it on the laptop to make sure!
I swear, my PT is worse than a teenage supermodel! She is very expensive, very high maintenance, requires countless hours of cosmetic work to keep looking beautiful, and if I send her to her room for any length of time, the minute I take her out, she always has a few words to say about it! LOL
So we wait and see how much this sets me off of my mods, . Either way, its all good! I am in no rush, so if I have to cut a few things off my list, no biggie!
At any rate, I would love the chance to come hang out with you, Jan, and everyone at the park! Especially since I am stuck here instead of making the River this year! You gals be sure to keep me posted, and we will see if we can make it work!
