Seems like that just like a lot of other clubs around the country, the Wayfaring Cruisers are thinning out. A few deaths, deaths of PTs, internal politics, and dwindling interest has taken it's toll. The number on attendance at the Midwest Regional events has been around 20 cars the last several years; including some Crossroads and Big D Cruisers. THere have not been any occassional "Meet & Greets" in a while also.
Fewer Oklahoma City Cruisers were in attendance at the Midwest Regional this September. I was helping the son move from Tulsa to OKCity, and did stop by quickly for some pin striping. And, with a fresh face or two, The Oklahoma City - former Zoom City Cruisers might be getting together occasionally on our own. We will begin with the monthly "cars and Coffee" at the Northpark Mall at May Ave. and NW 122nd Street; November 1st, at 8:00 AM.
