Hey Everyone, Are you guys ready for the 2008 PT River Run? I was really hoping to make it again this year, but the Doctors are still poking around with my back, and they might not let me go.  At any rate, if you have never attended this show, it is very much worth going! Last year was my first large event, and it had such a great time! I got the privilege of cruising to the River with Poi, Surf Cruiser, Zorro, Lil Red, Captain Cog, and many more! It was so cool to make the 200 mile journey in a large group of custom PT's! It was also my first time meeting all of my PT Hero's face to face, and getting to check out those killer rides that I have been drooling over for years! Another reason to attend the River Run this year is that Dave Davidson who puts on this event has been very ill, and this may be the last year for this event! Anyways, if you get the chance to go, It is a truly great show! Take it easy! Candyman |

Hope to make it but does not look good to busy with shows again for GM with the 2008 Solstice GXP...... ;D

Well shoot Candyman and Roger, will sure miss you guys at this awesome event. This is the one event I really look forward to each year and especially this year in support of Dave Davidson. So, maybe your health issues will miraculously heal themselves Candyman and Roger, maybe you will get all caught up with your projects and be able to make it. One can be hopeful....Hugs, Sharon

 ..  ..  ...  ...  ... Yahoo! March is almost here, and I'm starting to pack already. Marie (Tweety) is meeting me in Laughlin the 11th, so we'll be there greeting everyone with our smiles and hellos. This should be another good year for the River Run and a good year for LeRoy's Boy's Home, the benefitiary of the event!!! We're also doing a jaunt over to the Grand Canyon AFTER the event, so if anyone wants to join in, they're welcome to come. Tweety and I are going back to Vegas after the GC trip, to take her to the airport, so I fiiiiiiinally get to cruise my PT down the Vegas Strip. Dave Davidson and his wife Mara gave a free registration to this event last May at the Orange County's Picnic in the Park. I won that registration, and I promised Dave I'd be there, if he was. So by golly I think he's going to be able to be there, and there's NO way I'm not keeping my promise to Dave. ;D Hope some of you can come, and I'm sorry your stuff is keeping you from coming Don...  But maybe next year! Somehow, I don't think this is going to be the last one Don...it's too good to let go. There are people that want it to survive, no matter who puts it on.

Hey Everyone, Well, it looks like they might actually let me out of the Doctor's office long enough to sneak away for a few days , so it looks like the old Candyman just might make it up to the River after all! Hey Everyone,
Well, I unfortunately am out of the River this year. I was hoping I might be able to pull off enough work to get it back in time, but no such luck. I don't want to rush it anyway, so I'll sit this one out. You all have a blast for me, and I will catch up with everyone at the PT's in the Park in April!

You know.....I've tried to figger out, how I'm gonna get all those RAFFLE prizes, my luggage, MARIE'S luggage, my PT stuff ANNNNNNNNNNNND that 32" TV in the back of my PT!!!! It's all got to fit, cuz we got LOTS of Cruisin' around NV and AZ to do!! ;D Okay serious folks.....ALL the money for these great raffle prizes and the TV and the 50/50 is going to a GREAT place. We cruise, we eat out, and we play hard and we do all the fun stuff, but there are some little boy's over in LaVerne, CA that need our help.....they're not so fortunate as we are, to be able to cruise around the United States and visit with their family and friends. So let's make Dave and Mara proud, and buy lots of tickets. I'm sure those boys will appreciate our generosity. See you all in Laughlin in 1 week!! |

The 32' HD TV will fit right in your back tail gate...throw your scooter Dee's way and we'll take it home for ya!! LOL

It is a great event and a great cause. I'm just glad we will be able to share it with all the very generous Pt people. Lanette that flat screen is gonna fit perfectly into my trailer....
