My friends up in Los Lunas/Belen NM are putting on a cruise this year, for the people in the Southwest Region. They are using my usual Event Weekend, and putting on a good event for the PT'rs. I hear there's going to be a Poker Walk in Albuquerque Old Town and some REAL site seeing! I will probably use the same weekend in '09, and put on my annual Mountain Cruise again, but I needed a year off!   My CA buddies need a year off too, to do something different! ============================================== "The Mother Road" PT Cruise, will be in Los Lunas, NM, Oct 24-26. Hosted by the Road Runner PT Cruisers in NM. "The Mother Road" aka Route 66. What a wonderful memory to all of us, and what a fun place to cruise!!!!!! We will be putting a different twist on our event, by focusing on the pre-1937 version of the old Route 66. "Early bird" surpises will start the evening of the 23rd. The fun will begin. Thank you SO much Don!! This isn't my event, it is being put on by our new group to NM, up in the Albuquerque area. I gave them my weekend, because there's no way we could both have an event and get anyone to come. I was willing to give up my event for a year, to give everyone a chance to visit Northern NM. There's some things I didn't forsee happening, but that's the breaks. People will just have to make their choices. But I'm sure the ones that come will have a good time, and that's all that matters. I'm getting emails here and there, indicating some will come. I will forward this site and this message to Jim and Liz Deal, head of the NM Road Runner PT Cruisers. They'll be delighted and hopefully it will help! Thanks again, Lanette |

Just so everyone will know....we are aware the this event is on the same weekend of the Lemoore show and it well, it just happened that way.  Bruce and I have talked about it, and we agree that everything will be fine. I'm aware that the CA people will be going to Lemoore, and that's way cool! I want you all to go and have a great time! If somone happens to be coming over this way, then they just might have the interest to attend the Mother Road Cruise. As of now, we do have people coming from NM, AZ, TX and possibly CO. We're all in this to have fun, and that comes first! So take care and details will come soon on this event. |
