I finally got a call from Soboba Casino out here in Hemet, and the are extremely interested in setting up a PT Cruiser run out for their Independence Day Celebration! Here is a quick flier I made up. If anyone would like to come out for this one, I could use all the PT Cruiser I can get!

Well, I haven't heard back from anyone on this one, so we will work on a good show next year here in Hemet, CA. Anyone who would still like to come on out and kick it with the old Candyman, you are more than welcome! Saboba casino will be hosting a free live concert presenting KC, and the Sunshine Band, and Cool & the Gang, and then will be followed up by a huge fireworks display! The Festivities will start at 4:00 PM on July 3, 2008 at Saboba Casino in Hemet, CA. This is a 100% free event, and is always a lot of fun! If anyone would like to come hang out with me, please shoot me an e-mail, and let me know

Hey Everyone,

Well, we went, we saw, we grooved! We saw Cool & the Gang, and KC & the Sunshine Band perform, followed by a huge Fireworks Display at the beautiful Soboba Casino, in Hemet, CA! They were really hoping to be able to have some Cool Custom Pt's to display, but it just wasn't in the cards this year! Oh well, hopefully next year for sure! It is a pretty fun event!

Anyways, it was a lot of fun, and we will really try to put something together for next year!

Hey Candyman....that was a great idea!!! You'll just need to get the word out sooner and hit the internet and the local meet and greets with that flyer. I remember reading about this way back when you posted it, but I forgot about it. When you get things set for 2009, I'll sure help you spread the word on the internet.

Ask anyone....I've been called the "Cheerleader" and gopher for all the PTer's out there, and those names are not something I'm ashamed of....I can think of a lot worse things I could be called.

So get it somewhat put together and spread the word starting in August, it can't hurt!!!

Hey Everyone,

No Prob Stan! I was kind of glad that things didn't quite work out anyway, as the Festivities seemed a little off this year. I think they must have gotten a late start, or something.

And Lanette, you are always so cool, and as always, I sure do appreciate everything you do for both me, and all us PT Fans from all over! I still can't wait for one of these Events, to be able to finally meet up with ya, and put a face to the name! You still are, and forever will be a Rockstar in my book!

I am for sure going to either try to work out a plan for the 4th of July again, or maybe a good PT Fest out here for next year! Since the PT Scene is really dying down, and a lot of shows are falling off of the Schedule, I really want to try to re-gain some of our momentum, and keep things moving out here! We will probably start small, and see where things take us, but I will definitely keep you guys posted!

Thank you for the kind kind words CM....this whole thing of PTism just gets better and better for the ones that are in it for all the right reasons.

It looks as tho it's falling off, but I think we're just getting shed of the troublemakers, the ones that don't want to DO anything, and the ones that sit around and gripe about what others are doing. Good riddence to them, if it means the group is smaller, so be it.

There will always be a "shift" in the events and things happening....not many will keep doing even the best of events year after year, it just wears on one too much.
So it's good for others to come along and create something new!!! Go fer it!!
