I have always worked on words. On the ability to express a concept in the clearest and simplest way possible. If you are referring to the canonical explanation of storytelling I have to answer that, as Seth Godin writes in his 'This is marketing', persuasion is outdated . We are moving towards a global vision of benevolent marketing , where those who sell become truly useful to those who buy. And he does it sincerely. All previous sales techniques are superseded by those who truly look after the customer's interests and don't just want to give them something to inflate their bank balance and their own ego.
Writer, insurance agent, social media manager… which of these DX Leads roles best describes you? I'm also a regular reader ! And I will also soon start a marketing course applied to video branding . Time is the most precious resource we have. I try to exploit it in the most creative way possible. I like to learn . If we do an interview later, I will probably be studying some other qualification close to those listed above. To what other field would you apply storytelling techniques effectively? Storytelling is a concept that encompasses all stories. As in the universe, nothing is created and nothing is destroyed. That it has all already been played and yet it is always original, improvised and expressive.
Each field has its own story with the wonder it causes in us. Many of your stories start or seem to start from real anecdotes, truly experienced by you first hand. Have you ever tried to write something totally abstract instead? In my professional life as an insurer, a lot, a lot comes from my experiences, as it should. I write to tell how I behave at work in the most sincere way possible. So as to convey to the client, whether potential or actual, who I am and make him understand as much as possible whether he can trust me. When I write short stories and novels, almost everything is invented there. For example, I have never met any Michelin-starred chef who pulls off a vomiting exploit on the Sunday lunchtime TV cooking show, as depicted in “Pork Tartare.
