Hi, I just picked up #1719 from Tulsa, Ok. Bought it as repossessed, mechanical issue. After checking it out, it broke the timing belt. Fortunately, the 2.4 is not an interference engine. Replaced the belt and it ran like a Swiss watch. I also have another one, not sure what number it is. Cars are in Arkansas now. Both are automatics.

Hi there!
I have number 0996 in the Series 2 Dream Cruiser. We live in Waverly, Nebraska, which is basically a suburb of Lincoln, Nebraska. Have had the Cruiser since September of 2013.

Hi there, i just purchased #0199 with 135,000 miles on it. It came with the autostick. The cruiser now resides in Fresno, Ca.
I am the 3rd. Owner. The 1st. Owner purchased it for his daughter. They sold it roughly around 2010 and possibly lived in the bay area (San Francisco, Ca.). The 2nd. Owner lived in San Mateo, Ca. And was moving to Modesto, Ca.
It is in very nice shape, but does need a little tlc. I plan on doing a couple of mods as well and using it for my business during promotional events. Of course lots of fun trips to the coast!
If you need more info let me know, thanks!

Hi, I have a2003 Dream Cruiser Bought It in 2005, with a Chrysler decal on the sides. My husband used a wheelchair, so the first thing he did was lower it. Made it so much easier for him. Then, he wanted to make sure everyone heard it, so it has a different muffler, so it sounds like a hotrod. The number is 653. Bought it in Nashua, New Hampshire, but it lives right outside of Athens Georgia. Unfortunatley, a little fender bender on the right quarter panel needs to be fixed. But my husband has died, and I don't think I can financially fix it. I am looking to sell it. Interior is in great shape. The color and leather have held up good. It does have the autostick, which for a person in a wheelchair, gives you the feel of really driving, and driving he did, however, it still has under 100,000 miles on it!! The decals on the sides are looking worn, but I never could find anyone who would remove them. My email is suzcarter714@hotmail.com, if you know of anyone who would like to see it to possibly buy it. I do have the original muffler in the garage, I would see if someone needs it. Or if they would like I can put it in the purchase price. It also has left handcontrols in it, if someone is handicapped, it is a great car, to push the front passenger seat forward, and disassemble chair, you can put in back seat, or if riding with someone, stash it in the back, truly versatile. thanks in advance, really love the car, but now I have 2 cars, with only me to drive, and this car needs someone to drive IT!!! loves to hit 80, that's the best cruise, even though my husband got it over 100 at Charlotte motor speedway during a PTevent!!

I am so happy to find this forum! I am a PT Cruiser addict, having owned two that I loved deeply - a 2001 Limited Edition and a 2007 Pacific Coast Highway Edition. After losing my '07 to a cracked engine in 2019 (to this day I bitterly regret being talked into parting with it), I have been searching for another Cruiser to drive only on the weekends. Most of the ones I have seen for sale in my area are either poorly maintained, or stripped down base models. A couple weeks ago my husband was driving home and a gorgeous bright orange Cruiser was in front of him. It had a dealer plate, and pulled into a driveway right in our neighborhood. The car was being driven by someone who works at a car dealership, which just acquired it that day. I took one look and fell in love on the spot. I have always wanted a Dream Cruiser and can't believe this one fell into my lap. It has high mileage (120K) but the body, interior, and rims are in great condition, having had just one owner for 17 years, who clearly babied it. I reached out to the prior owner, who told me her name is "Sweetie Pie." She needs a new fuel pump, timing belt/water pump change, and control arms (what PT doesn't need new control arms??) but it's worth the investment to have that orange beauty sitting in my driveway. Her number is 0838, she now lives in Warwick RI
