Hello Everyone,
Here is a list of 2003 PT Dream Cruiser Series 2's that I have found on the net. All of these were found either at dealers, or websites from all over the United States. All of the PT's listed here are listed be the Dream Cruiser Serial Number, and last known location. If anyone knows the owner of any of these PT's, and can retrieve more information, please let us know so we can get as much data as possible into our registry. Also, if by chance you run across a Dream Cruiser Series 2 that has a number that is not listed below, please let us know so we can enter it as well! Our goal is to try to find as many Dream Cruiser Series 2's as possible. Thank you!

Howdy, Candyman!
I'm Craig Kress ("indycak") in League City, Texas, just South of Houston. I bought #23 new from Archer Chrysler/Jeep (R.I.P.) in March 2003. It has 103,000 miles on the clock, and is still running strong. It's now a "garage queen" so it can last forever, or as long as I do! I just had a guy here in League City take all the dents, scratches, and a whole front end of road rash out, and it looks like new again. The motor mounts, timing chain, and water pump were replaced just before the 100,000 mile warranty expired, so I'm go to go another 100K. It still pulls strong right up to the rev limiter.
The only things I've done to the car are bolt-on and include a billet grille, '59 Cadillac tail lights (from PT Bob) and a lot of engine chrome. I also had the seats repaired which were starting to crack a bit. I have the common problem of the chrome coming off the back of the rims, but otherwise I'm working toward show condition.
I can't tell you how much I love this car. I'd rather have it than a deuce coupe or '51 Merc.
I want a Tangering Pearl convertible as a companion, and darned if I didn't see one driving down the street near our house a few weeks ago. I am on a mission to find it!
BTW, I was sad to see Archer get cut last fall. I bought my first new car from them when they were an AMC dealer...a "bittersweet orange" Javelin.

Hey their Craig, Welcome to West Valley Cruisers, and thank you for posting on your Dream Cruiser! Way cool on having such a super rare early number (second oldest number so far on the List so far.) ;D It sounds like you have got all the big stuff under control, and are good to go for a while. My pride and joy retired to the garage a little more than 2 years ago after I bought an 05 Nissan Titan to run around in, and hopefully one day soon be able to build me a custom trailer to haul my baby on. Here's a pic of the ol truck. She's got the Titan V8 which surprisingly has pretty good power, 22" rolling, Basini 3 1/2" exhaust, and a fair descent Fosgate, Pioneer system. Pretty good for a run around Truck so my Ride can stay nice and snug inside out of the elements. So far my Rides has 52,367 miles on her, and in the last 2 years, its racked up about 334 miles all just Cruising to shows, and having fun! ;D ;D ;D I totally agree with you, I love my ride too, and it would be so hard for me to give up ever! Its a blast to drive, I always get people waving, or giving me a thubs up, and almost every time I step foot out weather at a gas station, or grocery store, etc, people always come up to me and start asking questions, or complimenting on how they really like my Ride, the color, and so on all the time! Its just the coolest thing, and to me I recon I would be hard pressed to try to find another car this cool to ever even think about replacing this thing! I told my Wife after I started getting into modding my PT that I am planing on just keeping my ride forever, continue modding, updating, upgrading, and more for as long as I can, and eventually pass it down to my Son at some point down the road, and hopefully he will carry on, and enjoy it as much as I have. Anyways, thank you again for your post here, and for joining up here on the Forum. Go easy, and I hope to see ya around. Candyman

Hey their Guys, Well, was doing a little surfing on the Net looking for more Dream Cruisers to add to the list and stumbled across an old article written by Trevor Hofmann, a Journalist with the Canadian Auto Press. The Article was a 5 page review of the Dream Cruiser Seris 2 written back on August 14, 2003. He identified the PT as #1239 which is not yet identified, and we have yet another Dream to go up on our List. Here is the article if you would like to check it out. www.auto123.com/en/chrysler/pt-cruiser/2003/review?carid=1031301500&artid=15689I will keep on looking, and as always, if you find one anywhere, make sure you try to get the number and we will see how many are still out their. You all go easy as always and I will catch yall later. Candyman

There are at least two more Series 2 in the Houston area. One is in southwest Houston, and always parked where the owner works. I need to go in and meet them next time I bring mine into town. The other was owned by a single woman down in the Clear Lake area and it showed up a couple of years ago on the used car lot of Clear Lake Mazda for $10K. I tried to get a friend of mine to buy it, but he didn't and I've not seen it again.
Cheers!

Happy to help add to the list...
I bought #1883 in August '09. Currently traveling the country, but home is the south side of Chicago. Bought it with 18,000 miles, and have put a happy 20,000 since then.
